Why does my MSN Messenger kick me off constantly?

My messenger kicks me off constantly. I have a router
that connects me to the internet. Could this cause me to
constantly get kicked? It will sign back on but will
still kick me off.
 
What version of messenger are you running. We put stuff into MSN Messenger
6 to help this problem.
