Why does index require horizontal scrolling when others don't?

Why do I need to scroll side to side on my index page when all other pages
are the same size and do not require scrolling? How do I resize it so that it
can be veiwed properly?

Sorry. Didn't know anyone had replied. My site is www.schaeferarts.com. It scrolls properly on some browsers but not on others and it is difficult for me to find out which ones. That is why I want to fix it at the core.

Your biggest problem is the home page content was created using IE only word/shape art
- not supported in anything but IE
And looks like the content came from MS Word (with a lot of Word proprietary styling)
- all of which should be removed

IMHO
- there is no reason to force the design layout of the home page to be so wide
(you should redesign it to be more like your interior pages)
