why do my posts not appear?

I posted 2 messages to public.outlook yesterday Re Spam and neither post
made it to the new post section. One of my messages did however make it to
the thread of someone elses mail, I certainly did not post this to his
thread. Can anyone tell me what is happening?

Right click on the newsgroup, select properties, click local file, and click
Reset. Then download all headers again.

There was a small problem with one of the machines yesterday - it lost
about 20 minutes of posts made through it at around 9:15 PM or so ,
Pacific Time.
