Why do my control buttons quit working after I convert to an ACCD.

I am new on Access 2007 and converted an Access 2000 database to Access 2007.
I then converted to an ACCDE database and now the control buttons quit
working. Any Ideas of why this happened and how to fix the issue

What, if anything, happens when you click the buttons? Does the problem
exist in the Access 2007 ACCDB or only in the ACCDE? Did you save the ACCDB
and the ACCDE in folders that are listed as trusted locations in the Access
2007 Trust Center?
