Why do I have to sign back in every 20 minutes or so?

If I do not use my computer (a Lenovo T61 loaded w/ Vista Home Premium) every
15 minutes or so, it reverts to the log-in screen and I have to enter my
password again. How do I extend the time period before Vista locks me out?

Try: Start > Control Panel > Power Options and see if you can get the effect
you want.

Try this -

1) right click on the desktop, select "personalize" from the menu

2) click on "screen saver"

3) It will show a message like : Wait [15] minutes. You can increase the
time there.

4) clear the checkbox "On resume display login screen"

ok...another way to get there and I think another party has responded so
here's another try.
Control Panel > Personalization > Screen Saver and pick a time you want.
