Why can't I select and print from within a table in Microsoft Wor.

We have Microsoft Office XP and need to print only selected portions of
tables in Microsoft Word in order to print rolodex and file labels. When we
select a portion of the text and then go to print, the "selection" option is
shaded and will not allow us to print less than a whole page. This is
wasting time and labels. Is there a workaround for this?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?ZGhhd2tlcg==?=,

Try selecting the table cell you want to print as a label, then go to
Tools/Letters and Mailings/Envelopes and Labels/Labels. On my system, the table
cell content appears in the address box. And at the bottom of the dialog box
you can choose to print a single label, and specify the starting position.

If this isn't what you're looking for, the only other thing I can suggest would
be to copy/paste the table cells into an empty table sheet, so that only the
cells are filled that you want to print. Then print this document.
