Why can't I record a cd?

I recently bought the ROXIO EASY CD & DVD CREATOR (VERSION 6) and it was
working fine until I did a System Recovery on my computer. Now, when I want
to record, it says that no recorder exists. What do I do?????

Undo System Restore and troubleshoot why you did so and/or check with Roxio.

If you mean a System recovery with a CD provided by the maker, that puts
things back to ex-factory state - losing all installed programs and
data.

If you mean System Restore, you may have done so to a date before you
installed that software - that will have removed it and you will need to
install it afresh

Reinstall Roxio.

System restore deletes anything put on the system after the restore point
that you restore the system to, so it is as if Roxio was never on the
system.
