Why can't I post to some ng's?

General newsgroup question: What would be preventing me from being able to
post to certain ng's? I use XP, with Outlook Express as my newsreader. I
have no problem with most ng's, such as this one.

The main one I have trouble with is comp.dcom.telecom.

Are there categories of ng's that must be considered in the OE options, etc?

comp.dcom.telecom is moderated, you may need to jump through some hoops
before you can post. Have you contacted the Moderator?

My understanding is that Usenet servers are generally set up to email
posts to moderated groups directly to the moderator, rather than
actually posting them to the group. The moderator will process it when
he gets time (moderators are unpaid volunteers), so your post will
show up in the group sometime ... if the moderator approves it.
