Why cant i install Adobe Reader?

i try and install it and it says "The Temp folder is on a drive that is full
or inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write
permission on the Temp folder." i know i have enough free space

I had the same problem and used Gogle to find the solution however once I
got it installed I did not save the solution. I beleive the solution had
something to do with Adobe8 wanting to use a temp file in the users
documents and settings diretory and not the system temp file direcory.

Do you have UAC turned off? If so turn it back on, reboot and install Adobe
again.

Right click the installer file, use 'run as administrator'.
