Why cant I find my Word toolbars?

I use Word 2000 at home and have just started a new job where I also have
Word 2000. At work, Word has no toolbars, not even the "File, Edit, View,
Insert etc" bar. I have tried the office assistant but it just says to right
click any toolbar, which I can't because there aren't any! How can I get
them back?
