Why can't I export Access reports into Word with formating

I need to export Access reports into Word so they can be e-mailed to users to
edit the text. The problem is, all of the formating is lost (lines etc).
Not everyone has Adobe so sending pdfs is out. Is there a way to save the
formating or is there a good third party software program that will export it
correctly?

There is no way to export formatting of a report to Word. I don't know of
any third party products that do that.

One way would require some VBA and that would be using Automation to create
an instance of Word and use the Word object model to insert the data and
define the formatting.
