Why can't delete value from registry. Registry says that you have no access to this value

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{7CD06992-50AA-11D1-B8F0-00A0C9259304

-Thanks-

What OS? What registry tool? And mostly, what is the CLSID for?
That assumes you can read it, but not delete it.
Could be registry ACLs. Could be locked by a process. Could be (less
likely) registry corruption. No such entry here on W2K.

Have you tried running regedt32.exe so you can look at the security
permissions on the registry key in question?

Have you traced this registry key to find out what it is used and if you can
delete it with impunity?
