Why can I only type on the left side of the page in Word?

My daughter changed something and now as i type it only fills the left half
of the page. Print preview and print works fine, it's just the actual typing
that does this. I can't stand the half white screen. I've looked at page
setup, view, options, etc and know it must be something simple but can't
figure it out.

You have Track Changes (Ctrl+Shift+E) turned on, and Word is reserving
space on the right for balloons. Turn off Track Changes and sin no
more. :)

version of Word, and in which view are you working?

I could imagine your scenario when working in Normal view and not
letting Word "wrap to window" -- setting that, or zoomin in would remedy
that.
