Why BCM Contact and Standard Contacts

I'd like to get rid of contacts as I see ablsoulty no reason for both. The
standard gets in the way by opeing other applications and then worse the BCM
contacts does not work with all applications like my PALM

Your requst/seems very resonabel - this is however not possibel ... for no
clear reason it seems like that you must:

Create the new enty in 'contacts' and then MOVE them to BCM!!!
( I know it seems crazy!!)

I asked the same (and several other questions re. contacts) question some
weeks ago and got almost no respons - peopls seem to be a bit unknowing on
the subject??

Actually what I do to make sure I only have one complete copy of contacts is
to
Delete every contact in the "Contacts" and then I can make no mistake
working in hte BCM Contacts.

Why have both is just STUPID. (trying to get a response from MS).

Then when I have to port to the PALM I copy all contacts (3000 plus) over -
update the Palm and delete them again.

I am going to update to a Pocket PC but the two I already have were so badly
designed by MS and HP it's taken until now to get a new one from t-mobile
(Dash) and it works seamlessly. The one I need is $700, so I'll have to wait
while the more feature rich ones come into market.

Why has not MS created a simplier finger operated interface like apple?

One benefit (big one) is that my TREO 650 syncs to the Standard Contacts
(2000 names) but my BCM contact database is over 7000 contacts and includes
all employee's contacts....

I agree but any other address book for me would be a business one as I see no
advantage for having two different ones. I'd just make two business contacts
and never the other. I travel a bit and cannot be away from any contacts.
