Why aren't images pre-loading?

Created the site above - I thought I had coded each sub-gallery (items to
the left) so that all the pictures pre-loaded when the page loaded. But when
I open the website, the images don't seem to be loading until I rollover the
numbers at the top. Can someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Well, I went to Outdoor Kitchens and
1. I found the preload function is present
2. I found the call to the preload function is present
3. The images loaded very quickly when I moused over the numbers

Diito for Designer Concrete

So, basically it looks abosultely fine to me

BTW, preload only means that the images are loaded into a temporay internet
folder on your hard disk, so that they are immediately available.

Optimize the gallery images..may help...many of them are like 150K and could
easily be 1/4 that size.

IrFanview is good for batch processing of images (and its free)
