Why are some of the tasks assigned to me not readable?

I have sent several assigned tasks to a business associate and he gets some
of them clearly. Other tasks come across as just a bunch of miscellaneous
letters and symbols. I am doing the exact same thing each time I assign a
task, so I don't know why it works sometimes and other times it doesn't.
Help! :)

it sounds like something is causing outlook to not decode them properly.
Antivirus software scanning your email is the most common cause of problems.
It could be either on your end or his.
