Why are restore points not working

I created a restore point about 60 minutes ago ( via Accessories\System
Tools\System Restore) and I got a screen message to say it was succesful.

About 30 minutes ago I tried to restore my pc back to that restore point but
I get the message back to say there are no restore points created for the
day. In fact there is no calendar and no restore points at all.

For info - My computer\Properties\System Restore shows all drives are being
monitored.

Can SKS help out :

a) to get restore points working generally
b) to try to find that restore point of about 60 minutes ago - if it still
exists - and to restore my pc to that time point

You should not be monitoring anything other than your System (Windows)
Partition, which is nearly always C.
