why are my column headings numbers instead of letters?

every other computer has columns named alphabetically, - why are mine
numerical? thanks
 
Are you using Microsoft Access?

What column headings? Report, form, table?

This sounds like an Excel question, not an Access Database question. If so,
this is the wrong newsgroup, but I'll try to help. Assuming you are speaking
of Excel, go to Tools|Options|General tab. The check box you are looking for
is called "R1C1 reference style".
