Who's good with excel???

I need a formula to calculate the sales tax of a number... For example: I
know that 100 less 8.25% sales tax is 92.37 'cause my calculator has "-tax"
button.. How can I calculate that with excel??? Please help me out

=A1-(A1*8.25%)

So you're looking for the original value that caused 8.25% more to give a grand
total of 100?

If yes:

=100/(1.0825)

I get this in excel: 92.37875289
