Whoever replied to my post about the BCC field

I received notification that you replied to my post, but cannot see it. The
lastest posts I can see are 12/23/08. I've tried everything I can think of
but can't see anything after that date, no matter what group I check. I've
also checked the date on my computer and that's set correctly. I'm not sure
what to do, but I am not able to see your reply even when I click on the link
MS sent me.

Am I surprised? Ha ha!!

Thank you for replying, and maybe I'll be able to see it tomorrow or
sometime in the future. I'm not sure what is wrong because it was obvious
you could see it. Help options on the site (of course) are no help.

If you read other posts, and in other groups, you'd see that Microsoft's
webnews-for-dummies interface to Usenet has been screwing up since early
Dec 23. Instead of using the limited and clutsy webnews interface, use
a real newsreader to access Usenet (Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Xnew,
Xananews, etc.). Connect it to an NNTP server. Motzarella.org has a
free one but doesn't carry binary groups. Microsoft has a free one at
msnews.microsoft.com that carries microsoft.public.* groups.

Here is a copy of my reply:

Outlook 2002 will not remember the password under Windows Vista. A known
issue:

Once selected from the Options menu, the BCC field should persist.
