I need to create a GPO for an OU that set's every user's off-line folder
synchronization to occur on a schedule rather than log on or log off... We'd
like our remote winxp users who have a slow wan connection to have their home
directories, etc., synch w/ the remote file server every night. This will
help us isolate bandwidth usage for such activities to after business hours,
and speed up log on and log off for users during the day.

Anyone seen a GPO for this, or have any ideas for implementing? As usual,
MS gives me information for everything cept what I need the most.

Thanks,
M

I'm not sure if this will help you, but there is a Scheduled Synchronization
Wizard.

In the run window type mobsync.
Click the Setup button.
Click the Scheduled tab.
Click Add...

yeah, I know this is there...I need to know how to automatically configure
that scheduler w/ a GPO....that's the challenge.
