While I'm waiting....

Is it supposed to take hours? It's the furthest I've gotten to installing on
raid. I left it this morning after the completing installation phase. I
still had to disable signing enforcment. It gives me the choice; resume
restart or delete recovery data.It gets to the black logo screen and stays
busy for the half hour I could afford to wait. I get back and the pc is off.
I turn it on and only get a colorful "resuming", then a curser and
eventually no activity. Soz I restart again, disabled signing, and it
'resumes' and goes to the curser. I restart after a long lull and pick
delete recovery data and restart. This time it goes back to the logo screen
and that's were I left it.
I've been following the nvidia sataraid recipe accept that I have the host
on the Sil 3114 raid installing to the nVraid. Both drivers are loaded.

I note from your system specs that you have 2 graphics card in SLI. Disable
one of them. SLI is currently unsupported in Vista. This *may* be part of
the problem.

I read something like that before. When I get home and pregress wasn't made
I'll take a card out. The BIOS only gives me a choice to enable/disable a
warning, no the SLI itself. I think they did away with a couple of choices
on SLI, seems way back at you could straight up enable/disable/auto on the
SLI.

Well that did the trick. Now that Vista is running and got a few things
loaded. I'll put the other card back in and hopefully all goes well.
