Which XP? 32 or 64

Just got this laptop and learned of the virus via CNBC.
Before downloading the patch, how do I know which version
of XP I have?

You have the 32-bit version of Windows. The 64-bit version
only runs with high-end Itanium processors and is not available
in retail stores.
