Which registry setting controls the maximun size of the System Cache?

One way to find out is to install an un-installer program, such as Total
Uninstall (http://martau.com). This program takes a snapshot of the
registry (and file system) before and after changes are made to the
system, compares the two snapshots and shows you the difference.

So, install Total Uninstall, run the "install" routine as though you are
going to install software, but instead, go into the System setup and
change the system cache settings. Complete the install routine in Total
Uninstall, and it will show you the changes to the registry.

Don't open or close any other programs, or you will see too many changes
cluttering the results, making it difficult to tell which reg alteration
actually controls the system cache.

Hope this helps.

Even if we were to tell you that, what exactly is it that you think that
you can change there? There are only two possible setting at the value
in question, 0 or 1. These settings can be changed from the operating
system's Performance Options instead of in the registy.

Hint: Performance Memory usage, Programs or System cache.
Hint # 2: Last Known Good Configuration. You might need it if you set
the Performance Option to System cache.
