Personally i think the dell is a better buy as its new, not recon, and has
better graphics card.
I'm unsure about the procesessors though.

Graphics come in two forms. The cheapest way to make graphics, is to integrate
the GPU into the Northbridge. For the manufacturer, such a move means the GPU
only adds $5 to the cost of the product. If you aim for the lowest cost
notebook, that is what you get. The Nvidia 6150 (and the Go 6150 is probably
similar), would be the best of its generation. But as with anything, try and
trace down some benchmarks, so you can make an informed decision. I wouldn't
expect it to be that easy, to get graphics benchmarks for all the mobile GPUs,
to make a side by side comparison. Such comparisons do exist for desktop
graphics.
As an example, the DV6000 here, offers the Geforce Go 7200, which is
one tiny step above the 6150. Trouble is, I cannot figure out how to get
a price on it. I expect it is way out of range for what you want.

The Go 7200 seems to use the same separate GPU as the 7300 and 7400 listed
here. I expect the core clock and memory are different. Pixel pipelines = 4
and Vertex Shaders = 3. The 6150 should be something like Pixel Pipelines: 2
and Vertex Processors: 1 (but I'm unable to find an authoritative spec for
Geforce Go 6150).

The MXM module the 7200 comes on, should look like this. A slight advantage
a separate GPU can have, is the memory chips next to it. If the chips are
wide enough and fast enough, they work better than system memory. A module
like this might be used in an "entertainment" laptop, rather than a more
basic laptop. Which is where I started looking for one.

There is a table here, comparing the separate Geforce Go GPUs. Since the 6150
is a built-in, it isn't listed in a table like this.
