Hi L. Spybot search and destroy. Then get AVG antvirus (free), or Avast.
Then get Adaware. install them, Update them, and run them. They`ll all help
to keep you safe. I use Sb, AVG and Adaware. If you get a stubborn problem,
start up in `Safe` mode (F8), and use them from there. best wishes..J

Thank you old jon for the advice. Is Spybot a freeware? I already have
Norton Security Anti virus. I did a scan today and that's how I found out I
may have eblaster installed in my computer.
Have a nice day!

In spite of spyware blaster, avast, avg, adaware, spybot I got some kind
of spyware worm. After checking security sites I came up with this
software. The download is a trial of the full program and after a
certain amount of time it turns into a more limited freeware. It says
this of the freeware: Even the free version of the ewido security suite
protects you with over 153.000 signatures effectively from data- and
system-espionage. The site also has a free online scan.

That would be a combination of MS Anti-Spyware and Ad-Aware.

I would nearly agree, but since using MS AntiSpyware, with auto update and
daily scans. Ad-Aware, SpybotS&D and Spywareblaster have detected nothing.
So unless you are really paranoid MS AntiSpyware seems to be enough.

Yes. Enough to slow your system to a crawl. Resource hog. Oh, and
when was the last definition update?

POS.

No sign of slowing system here except of course when doing daily scan.

I use XP pro Mike & all is OK, for all those thinking of using
Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware, here are the minimum requirements.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/requirements.mspx

Received new definition update today.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher

A 300 MHz or faster processor with at least 64 MB of RAM

Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server™ 2003

At least 10 MB of available free space on your hard disk

Internet access with at least a 28.8 Kbps connection to use SpyNet™
