Which brands should I avoid for ATI Radeon 9700 & 9800?

ANTant

After reading these two links on Avault:
http://avault.com/news/displaynews.asp?story=9102003-9298 and
http://avault.com/news/displaynews.asp?story=9102003-93928 ... I noticed
ATI cards have different brands like NVIDIA.

Are there any specific companies that I should avoid? And who is the
best in terms of quality?

Thank you in advance. :)

Believe it or not, the most famous ones :)
The 9800 pro for instance, best card you can buy for that is made by
Gigabyte, they use 2ns memory (note there are two versions so watch out),
all the rest use 2.8ns. So best bet is a gigabyte. Powercolour also use
decent meory, and reports are that Sapphire have been skimping a bit on the
quality of their memory.....

They're all built to the reference design, as far as I know... but
component-wise... I dunno.

I'm pleased with my Crucial. And you get a 3-year warranty too.
