ships with
vista rc2 or the one from ati that is tagged rc1 ?

I'm running ati rc1 drivers on rc2 (radeon 9600) with no problems at all.
Aero works.

I was just at the ATI webpage before and it clearly said "If using RC2 use
the Out Of Box Drivers, cause they are more recent then the ones from Here".
Hope this helps!!!

Same here. I'm pretty disappointed with the drivers of
both so far, Nvidia and ATi. I'm curious anyway, whe-
ther this will be true for the newly announced driver for
RC2 from ATi.

Regards,

Kai-Uwe

No doubts on this, but if you (ATi) talk that big you
better deliver something better than what was delivered
so far.

Hey All, please help!! I can't get my X800 working with the latest RC. I've
used bith the MS and latest ATI driver.
It detects it no probs with either, but keeps saying 'it cannot find any
free resources'. Arrrgh its driving me nuts 640x480 at 4bt!! I really want to
gett his working, it is a Shuttle ST20G5 with an ATI crossfire chipset
mainboard. Everything else seems to work fine.
HELP GURUS!!!

Where are you looking for the drivers?

Go to:
http://ati.amd.com

In Drivers and Software/Find a driver. Select the version of Vista (32bit or
64bit) and then select your installed video card from the list. There is no
driver specifically for RC2, the Vista drivers for all cards in a particular
category, such as Radeon, are all contained in the one downloadable file.

Bull I just bought a diamond mm 9550 and vista home basic and the drivers
don't work correctly. And had no problem with the card in XP before
installing vista! So don't be telling someone to go download drivers like
there some idiot when most liky the problem is vista itself!

Your replying to a message, from a thread that was posted 2 months ago. This
was posted before the final version of Vista was released.

Time doesn't matter. I have Vista Home 6.0 With an ati 9550 video card and
still have problems with vista locking up. in xp i was able to go into safe
mode after installing my caytalist software then turn off write combing and
it fixed the problem but in vista all i get in safe mode after installing
caytalist is vgasave and can't fix anything
