Which ATA?

Thanks. Didn't look far enuf. Now - is ATA 133 backward compatible? Or do
I need to upgrade my hard drives. If so, should I jump to SATA? Again, TIA

ATA133 drives and controllers ARE backwards compatible with slower ones.
There is no real world performance difference between ATA133 and
ATA100. That's why not all manufacturers offer them. It's mostly
marketing hype. SATA drives aren't any faster either.
