Can you explain a bit more? Did you just install Vista ?

installed vista about 3 weeks ago

windows explorer shows no music folder as it does documents, pictures, etc

favorite links section at top of windows explorer navigation pane shows
green folders for documents & pictures, but a white sheet for music which is
reported as a shortcut when i hover...
clicking on it does nothing

the pointer to the old XP my music folder shows in navigation pane, but gets
me nowhere as i understand is the proper behaviour

media player has my old stuff in the library & it works...
but i cannot find newly purchased music

and i would like access to the music files thru windows explorer

went back into napster today & found the music i had purchased listed with
download errors...
was able to redirect & download successfully into my downloads folder (it
had been configured for my old XP my music folder)...
however, i still have no music folder in Vista...
guess i don't need one ???

In the Start Search box above the Start Orb, type: shell:personal

This should recreate your "Music" folder ("My Music" in Win XP) with the proper
icon.

The "My Music" folder is not a real folder, but a "junction" used for compatibly
with older programs and should not be altered.

thanks all...
nothin' worked :(
the "pointer" my music icon was always there,
but obviously points nowhere or to non-existant folder...
