To make a long story short, I installed the trial edition of Vista Ultimate
on my Wife's PC, only to find out 30 days later that I cannot downgrade to
Home Premium. Since I had already purchased a Vista Home Premium key, I
figured I would go through the pain and do a clean reinstall of Vista Home
Premium. However, I cannot find this download anywhere through Microsoft.
Does anybody know where I can download the full version, so I can use my
purchased key?

Thanks a bunch,

You can install using the same DVD as your Vista Ultimate, just use the Home
Premium key.

its all on the same dvd. when installing it asks which one you want to
install

Ok....though I don't recall seeing such an option 30 days ago.

I'll try that. Thanks for the super fast response.

It goes by the key. If you don't enter a key, it asks you which version you
bought, and installs that version. But, if you enter the key, it will
install whatever version the key is for.

OK, my installation CD never asks for a product key. My installation CD is
the CD that came with my Dell PC and states it is specifically for Vista
Ultimate. Am I crazy?, is there really only one type of installation CD for
Vista?

I just can't believe that the full product installation cannot be downloaded.
