Are you referring to the color fill or the shadow? With the Format WordArt
button on the toolbar, you can access the Format WordArt dialog, which
allows you to change the fill and line color, or since WordArt in recent
versions of Word is a drawing object, you can use the Line and Fill buttons
on the Drawing toolbar.
For the shadow, you use the Shadow Style button on the Drawing toolbar,
which provides access to the Shadow Settings toolbar. You could add a Shadow
Style button to the WordArt toolbar using Customize if you like.
