where is the office shortcut bar?

I recently purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium. In order to be
able to sync my PDA I had to purchase a copy of Outlook 2007. I have Office
2000 installed. When I installed Outlook 2007 the offcie shortcut bar
disappeared. I use the shortcut bar because I don't like to have a large
number of shortcuts on my desktop. What happend to the shortcut bar?

WIndows XP and, presumably Vista, don't need the Office bar. You can create
toolbars all you want. Right-click the Taskbar, select Toolbars and there
should be an option to allow you to create a new toolbar.
