Can someone please take the time to tell me the location of the sub-folder
which contains all the Commands applicable to XP Prof plus the brief help
file on each of them. My purpose is to put enable a Desktop Shortcut to this
Folder. Would appreciate any assistance.

Put this in a shortcut:
%systemroot%\hh.exe Ms-its:%systemroot%\help\ntcmds.chm::/ntcmds.htm
That will bring up the help file pointing to an A-Z list of commands.

You don't need a folder of the commands themselves, since you can
start any one at the command prompt or in Start->Run.

Stan,
Thank you [and all the others] so much. Yours was the most exact answer I
was seeking since I now have a shortcut link to that folder on my Desktop. I
need that since there is no way to remember all the Commands plus the
applicable switches which can be used with them and the affects. Lots of
information in that Folder!
Again, Thanks

You're very welcome. I have to admit I got that link a few months
ago from someone else in this newsgroup, but I can't remember whom.

A: Maybe because some people are too annoyed by top-posting.
Q: Why do I not get an answer to my question(s)?
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
