Where is system restore?

Without having to go through Help and Support Center and then to Pick a Task
and then click the System Restore link... isn't there a more direct route?
I want to make a button on my task bar for setting a new restore point or at
least to take me directly to the SR dialog box.

Can that be done, or is Help and Support Center the only way to get to it?

Hi Bruce,

Try going to start then all programs then accessories then system tools then
system restore. I hope this helps. It took me a while to find it too.

click on start , all programs, accessories, system tools, ......move
mouse on to system restore....right click on it and select "send to"
and then select desktop. Confirm on the prompt

C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe

Easiest way:-
Click Start button, click All Programs/Accessories/System Tools and then
right click System Restore, then left click: Send To /Desktop (create
shortcut).
