Where is reminder file?

Craig

While installing an add-in reminder file (Reminder Manager) I had some
trouble and had to uninstall my existing add-in program, Extended Reminder,
and then ultimately uninstall the Reminder Manager. Unfortunately it deleted
all of my existing reminders (30 in all). I need these reminders. I had all
these reminders on my lap top though. Is there a file on the lap top that I
can simply copy over to my desktop and reinstall all those reminders?

Thanks,

Craig

Hi Craig,

Outlook processes Reminders from a special folder in your mailbox called the Reminders Folder. This folder is contained inside of your mailbox, and not accessible as an external
folder which you can simply copy.

If reminders seem to be lost it may be that the Reminders folder is not
longer linked within Outlook as the source for reminders. In that case
starting Outlook with the /resetfolders switch will reset things. This is
also useful when some synch software replicates the Reminders folder and
confuses Outlook, which I've seen in some versions of some synch software.
You end up with Reminders, Reminders1, Reminders2 and so on.

Reminder Manager never just deletes reminders, which are properties on
items. The default reminder folders (Inbox, Tasks, Calendar and Contacts)
are then used as the source for the Reminders search folder to display those
reminders. Using /resetfolders will re-enable those reminders.
