where is my wireless network?

Win XP SR2
My wireless network worked well for months.
In the last 3-4 days it has disappeared.
My laptop can not find it.
My PDA can not find it.
It does not appear in Network connections.
It does not appear in Systray.
When I create a new network everything seems to progress as it
should but the new network does not appear in Network Connections.
My wired network still functions well.
How do I get back the wireless network?

Hi
Wireless connection is comprised of two components.
1. A wireless source (in most cases it is the users Wireless Cable/DSl
Router/Access Point).
2. Wireless client card on the computer.
This page might help to find what is wrong with a specific computer.

Since you did not provided any info on your Wireless source I cannot relate
to it.
Jack (MVP-Networking).

I suppose you have a router. This all sounds like a hardware problem with
your router.
You should check it for errors.

OK, Jack, went to ezlan. But I'm not an expert. I have one entry under
'device Manager' - 'Network Adapters' - Intel Pro 100/VE Network
Connection. Is that wired/wireless/ or both?
Under 'Network Connections' I have three entries - Incoming Connections,
Internet Connection, and Local Area Connection 2.' Is the 'Internet
Connection' the wireless one?
Under "CLient for Microsoft Network,' when I select 'Properties' I do
NOT have a 'General' tab - only an 'RPC service' tab. What does this
indicate?
