Where is Frontpage's default css sheet???

P

pinkpanther

Hello,

Please, oh please, can someone tell me where to find Frontpage's "default"
css sheet?

I have clicked on all buttons, searched all the 'help' available in the
software, but have never managed to find where to change the default font
system, which, although I choose 'Verdana' and in 'design view' has changed
to Times New Roman when I look in 'Preview' or when publish on the web.

Also, the other default is the size of the font: however many times I put
it to '2pt', as soon as I type in another cell or table it has popped back to
it's apparent default of '3pt' !

I would be so grateful if someone could show me where these default settings
can be found.

Thank you very much for your time.

1) FP does not use a "default css sheet"
2) The default font you select is Not applied to your page content (it really means remove all font decoration)
- the default font is the font used only in FP design view to render text that has Not been formatted by either a font tag or a css
style sheet

PS
Your example page has no font tags or css styles in it,
- so it renders to all users on the web in their default browser's font face/size

And since tables cell expand to fit content, the content layout (line wrapping) will be different in the browser than what you see
in FP design view

Bless you, Stefan, that was one highly enlightening post!!

I've altered my computer now and it all looks just perfect - on my
computer... but what about other people's computers who will have different
fonts set?

Again
What you see on your PC is not what others will see as long as you are using the default font or size
To set an explicit font select the text (or Edit Select All for the whole page) and select any std font (except default), such as
verdana and a font size of 2 (not the default)
