Where is Client for Microsoft Networks

Have XP Home edition and want to share access on home
network with other Windows computers. For some reason
Client for Microsoft Networks is missing for the Internet
Connection. I thought it was built in for XP. Went
through the normal Add Client in Networking setup but no
choices are present for any networking clients. Do I
need to point it to the Windows XP cdrom somewhere?

It's possible that the Internet Connection in the Network Connections
folder has become corrupted. Go to Device Manager and un-install the
network adapter that it uses. Then reboot and let Windows XP
re-install the network adapter. That will delete the Internet
Connection and create a new one.
