Where is "Categories" field in create new task window? How do I add it?

Create task window seems to be missing the "Categories" field. Is there
a way to add it?


The work around is to save the new tasks> go to task list> add
Categories using field chooser> edit the categories field for the newly
created task.

There should be a way to automatically place a task in a particular
category when you are in the New task window

It's at lower right, as on contacts and appointments. Maybe you need to make the window larger?
