Where has my General tab gone?

Ah well, heres hoping someone out there has had the same probs as me.
I used to be able to delete my cookies and internet history quite easily.
In Internet options , my general tab has gone, cant change the home page now
either.

Any ideas gratefully received,

To change your home page, you can surf to the site you want as your new home
page. Drag the IE icon that is to the left of the web address in the web
address bar window and drop it on the 'Home' button in the toolbar. If you go
to a site that has its own icon, then you won't see the IE icon but will see the
site's icon.

Don't know about getting your 'General' tab back but have you tried to hit the
'Advanced' tab and then hitting the Restore Defaults button?

Reset the Internet Explorer tabs and remove all the browser restrictions.

Restore All tabs in IE and Removes the ** Internet Options ** Restrictions
as well

** The cause may be due to a spyware. Download Ad-Aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate the malware products.
Re-apply the above fix if necessary.
