Hi everyone,

I wanted to know where all the pictures get stored in Outlook XP? I wanted
easy access the pictures themselves instead of opening the message and then
closing, opening then closing.

Thank you very much!

They are all in with all the other messages in your .pst file. Only
Outlook can read its proprietary file. If you want your pictures
available outside of your .pst file then save the file attachments.

They are stored in the default pst file, most likely
Outlook.pst, in your profile under Documents and
Settings. The only way to have "easy access" to them is
to open each email and save them to disk in a specific
location.

You can delete the emails and compact the pst file to
save space---an especially good idea if you get a lot of
them because once your pst file exceeds a gigabyte,
response is likely to be slow and when it reaches 2
gigabytes, you won't be able to open it all and your
emails will be lost!
