Where do the Impoted Files go

Hello all, Can anyone assist with an annoying dilema please. I have so many
collections in movie maker that i wish to delete some. How do i do this. I
can remove the clip by right clicking and deleting but the collection folder
is still present.

Secondly when i import a clip, where is it saved to?

.... and 'importing' isn't really an importing as a copy of the source file
isn't brought into Movie Maker. Info about the file, a thumbnail, and a
pointer it is added to the collection database file.

collection database is.
