I opened a contacts template...then decided to create a new table with better
fields for input. I typed in hours of information, saved it and shut down my
pc. Today, the file is NOWHERE to be found on my entire PC!! HELP!!! Where
the heck did access save it??

Tables are stored as separate entities: everything's stored in one file.
Depending on what version of Access you're using, that will be either an MDB
or an ACCDB file. Open Access, and the last file on which you worked should
be the first one in the MRU (most recently used) list (unless you opened a
number of files during your search). The table should be there.

Don't you mean "Tables are NOT stored as separate entities: everything's
stored in one file.
