where are the PST and PAB files stored?

I want to drop them into my breifcase so I can move between machines - I have
searched the entire drive of both my laption and the desktop and have not
found them.

Any ideas?

If you are on anything more modern than Outlook 97 then you don't HAVE a
pab. You need to enable hidden files in your search. (Assuming W2K or WXP -
which you didn't say).

Please post your Outlook version and OS version when asking a question.

FWIW, the Personal Address Book (.pab file) can be used in Outlook 97, Outlook
98 or Outlook 2000 in the Corporate/Workgroup mode.
