Where are my forwarded messages being filed????

I installed my Outlook 2003 w/ the Office Professional onto my new computer
when I purchased it last year. I just realized that when I send a forwarded
message, it is not saved or filed in my "sent items" file. Where in the heck
do they go? I need to find some of these? Please help!!!!!
I have never had this issue before.

So how do you have Outlook configured as to where it saves the copy of your
sent e-mails?

Tools -> Options -> Preferences -> E-mail Options
"Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder"

If you enable this, a copy of your sent message gets moved from the Outbox
(upon a successful send) to the Sent Items folder. If this is not enabled,
the copy gets saved in the same folder to which you replied or forwarded the
original message.

You could always use Advanced Find to find out where the messages got saved.
You might also check what view you are using on the folders to make sure you
aren't hiding some of them.

Not true. If "Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder" is not enabled,
NO message is saved on sending. If that option is enabled, then sent items
are saved. If the option Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail
Options>In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message is
also enabled, then the reply or forward will be saved in the original folder
instead of Sent Items.

Should've had that cup of coffee before answering. I knew the option was in
there somewhere but didn't look hard enough.
