Where are Backgrounds and Stationery Stored in Windows?

I would like to add some of my own personal backgrounds to wherever the rest
of them are so that when I am in a new e-mail and want to change the
background, that mine show up as an option. Curretnly, I have to go browse
into my personal folders to locate my backgrounds.

Does anyone know where these files are stored and what file types they are
saved as?

Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook use \Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery as a common repository. (Note: Using Word
as your e-mail editor might change things a bit.)
