When you close Outlook, the process stays in memory...

Using XP Pro and office 2007 the latest updates...

when you close Outlook it stays in memory as a process to show you any
reminders. You can view it as Outlook.exe in the task manager. I would like
Outlook to not do this. In other words when I close Outlook I would like for
it to truly close and not leave anything running to remind me of something.

How to do set Outlook to do this each time it closes?

Thanks Bob

You need to figure out what is preventing the clean shutdown
Usually its an addin or intergrated anti virus application
