When synching w/Blackberry issue

Old calendar items are deleted from Outlook after synching with my
Blackberry. Is there any setting that would keep the old calendar items from
being deleted.

Has this happenned after the initial activation of the Blackberry or over a
period of time since you have been using this device?
Also you might want to check on the BB Calendar Options - "keep
appointments" is set to forever, and the "Delete on" under Email options set
to Handheld Only.
IF Keep appointments is set to ex:15days and the Delete ON is set to Mailbox
and Handheld, there are chances for the problm you have mentioned.
