When sending mail to multiple addresses using the BCC feature it s

It is sending the same email to addresses in my BCC field sometimes 10 to 15
times. Obviously I get a whole lot of responses asking me why I sent the same
email 15 times. Why is this occurring? Hitting send button one time. Does not
seem to happen all the time.

That type of problem can be caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I am suing Norton AV. I do have the email scanning
turned off.

Norton antivirus is among the top three troublemakers for Windows Mail.
Turning off email scanning is often not sufficient.
The only way you can prove or disprove that Norton is the culprit is to
uninstall it, followed by using their debris removal tool:

Another option is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which is more
resistant to the adverse effects of aggressive antivirus products:

In any case you must disable any antivirus email scanning, for the reason
